GARDEN GLIMPSES: Multimedia artwork exhibit at the Frame to Please “Art from the Heart” Gallery in the Galleria.
Garden Glimpses is a collection of glorious colorful art in various media presented by exhibiting members of the Guild of Creative Art. The art work will be on display at the “Art from the Heart” Gallery kiosk in The Galleria for the mouths of June and July 2015. “Art from the Heart” is a charity program created by Megan Prenderville and Mike Harper, owners of Frame to Please. Their premise is to provide local artists with non-profit organizations such as the Guild of Creative Art the opportunity to display the work of their membership in exchange for giving a portion of the proceeds to the charity of their choice. The Guild will be donating 10% of its proceeds to their scholarship program for graduating high school students from the surrounding communities who will be majoring in the visual arts in college.
The Guild of Creative Art, 620 Broad Street, Shrewsbury, NJ has been encouraging and nurturing artists for over 50 years. “Advancing Excellence in the Visual Arts since 1960” is the Guild’s mission. This is accomplished through exhibits of original art, by offering a variety of classes and demonstrations to members of the entire community of various ages, and by ever expanding our community outreach programs with docent tours and participation in numerous community based projects.
You are cordially invited by Frame to Please and the Guild of Creative Art to meet many of the exhibiting artists at a reception on Thursday June 18, 2015 from 6 – 8pm in The Galleria, 2 Bridge Street, Red Bank.
